Today I had planned on getting the porches decorated for Fall but it has been very windy. So instead I thought I would work on my new Fall wreath that I got at HomeGoods the other day. I walked by it three times before I said to myself "just do it". It was a little pricey but it is quite large, which is what I need for my front door.
Now of course it didn't start out quite like this. I added a few touches of my own. Here is how it looked when I bought it.
I added the orange pumpkins, some small white berries, some crystals and some beading. I found these bead strings at Tuesday Morning. I cut them in half and put the beads on some wire.
Then I attached them to the wreath in various places.
The wreath already had some crystals but I wanted to add more. I found this ornament at Tuesday Morning also. Not the prettiest ornament but all I wanted was the crystals. I then removed the crystals I wanted and add them to the wreath.
What drew me to this wreath were the textured pumpkins. The large ones reminds me of a chenille bedspread.
The smaller ones look like a popcorn ceiling.

Now for the side by side comparison. Yes it was a great wreath to begin with but I wanted some orange added.
