I put a little bit of Fall in my kitchen. I have to admit this is one of the hardest rooms to decorate. I don't have much free space and it doesn't photograph very well with the dark cabinets. Trust me, it looks better in person.
Let's try some close ups.
My three tier tray.
Above the fridge.
And now the hardest spot to photograph. The corner sink.
No matter how hard I try the darn faucets are in the way.
So I even tried to get a close up of the top pumpkin and that darn little faucet is peeking in the corner of the picture. Oh well at least I have something pretty to look at when I am at the sink.

Pumpkins and plaid tablescape
I like to do a few different tablescapes for my kitchen table each season. This is the first one that I have in the kitchen right now. I like to change it out every few weeks.
I wanted to use my pumpkin plates and my plaid napkins. Here are some other angles of the table.
I thought I would keep this one more simple and concentrate on the centerpiece. I didn't want to clutter the table up too much.
Here is a close up of the plates.

Sneak peek at my Fall bench
Here is a sneak peek at my bench in the entry way decorated for Fall. I am still working in this area and hope to get it done by this weekend. Be sure to check back for the full post.
This is just the first look for the bench. I usually do another one later in the season.

Fall fireplace
I worked long and hard getting the right look for my fireplace mantel this year. Not only do I have to use a step ladder to decorate it since it is elevated from the family room floor but I had the leaf garlands not want to stay in place also. But it was worth it.
Here is what it looks like at night. I have battery operated candles and led lights.
I really like how this turned out. It took me two weekends to figure it out.
I wasn't sure where to put my crackle pumpkin that I made but it fit great with my stacked boxes.
I wasn't going to decorated the table next to the fireplace but what the heck.
Now onto the entry way. I will try and get it done this weekend but it might not be until the next one.

Fall in a tray
I started decorating the family room this past weekend. I am still working on the fireplace area but I did get my tray on the coffee table done. I am doing an orange and cream color theme in the family room this year. I will be finishing up this room this weekend and get it posted. For now please enjoy my tray.
I took a few pictures at different angles as the tray is pretty much decorated all around.
I can't wait to get the rest of the house done. Right now my formal living room is full of plastic bins and fall flower/leaves all over the flow. It's like walking through an obstacle course just to get in there and pick out items.

Revamping a Fall wreath and what's hidding in the cabinet
Today I got my mums planted in the front and back yard. It took a little longer than I thought it would so I didn't get much of my Fall decorating done. I did finish up the dining room and worked on a wreath project.
First up is the wreath. I had an grape vine wreath with some bittersweet on it. Very dull. It needs to be prettied up. This is the before.
Now here is what it looks like after I added some fall leaves, picks and more berries.
This is the first step to my Fall decorating on the front porch. I will probably wait until next weekend to get it all decorated.
Next I moved on to the dining room. I wanted to add a little bit of Fall to the corner cabinet. Since I am doing a bird theme right now I choose my set of owls. I left everything in place and just tucked some Fall touches in here and there.

The twins
We have a doe in the neighborhood that had twins this year. I finally got to see them a few weeks ago. I have seen about 5 babies here this year. We have a little bit of open space to the north of our house. There is a lot of brush so it was not easy to get good pictures.
There is a walking path on the other side of the open space so the hubby walked over there and took this picture.
Here is a close up of one of the fawns. Soooo cute. We have mule deer so their ears are pretty large even as fawns.
I did manage to get a couple of pictures of mama who was with them.
We have numerous deer in our neighborhood. I love to look at them but I hate it when they eat my flowers. Almost all of my flowers are suppose to be deer resistant but I guess the deer didn't read the labels.
