Here are a few items that I bought at Hobby Lobby and Goodwill today.

Here is everything that I got at Hobby Lobby today.  Everything was 80% off.  I paid $144.00 for all of this.

Here is a close up of the knick knacks.  I could have bought more but I think that two carts is enough.

This is what I got at Goodwill for $25.00.  I think that I scored big today between the two places.  I can't wait to decorate with these. Check back to see where I put these.

Corner of my front porch

I am getting ready to switch out the decor on my front porch.  Here is what it looks like now in the corner by the bench.

When I was decorating this corner I first had only the lantern in mind with the boots.

Then I changed it to the little dog.

I think that I like it with both better, so that's where it has been this spring.  Hopefully soon I will be able to get out there and fix it for summer.  Maybe this weekend.  I am still tackling the jungle of the backyard.

My Front Yard

Finally got most of the front yard done.  When we moved in last year the plants were overgrown, grass was full of weeds and bare in spots.  I removed all the the old plants and bushes this spring.  It took me two months of Sundays to get the yard into shape.

Here is a picture of the front yard.  I still have lots of work to do in the backyard.  It is even worse than the front.  I probably won't get it all done this year. 

This is a close up of my lamp post.  It had three overgrown bushes that I removed.  I planted a clematis in front of the post and add this cool trellis that looks like leaves for it to grow on.  I would like to repaint the house a different color. Maybe next year.

I would like to change out the wreath on my front door but I have a house finch nest behind it.  They already had 3 babies and now that they are gone the momma has laid three more eggs.

Powder room and entry

Here is a picture of my cabinet in my powder room.  This is the only room in my house that is blue. 

I am still working on the other side where the sink is.  Once that is done I will post the pictures.

Here is the entry off of our front door.  It is located right outside of the powder room.  I have just thrown a few things together for right now.  I will be tweaking this area soon.

I got this birdcage at Goodwill.

I love teacups.

I thought putting this kitty in the birdcage was a cute idea.  This birdcage was my mothers.

Fall is my favorite season and I just love the cream colors of these berries that I got at Hobby Lobby.
